Riverside International Speedway | Nova Scotia
Rich in tradition, Riverside International Speedway was built in 1969, a scale-replica of the original Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee. Riverside was totally rebuilt in 2006 with everything replaced except the starter’s stand. The track has hosted major race events over the years, including the NASCAR Canada Series, NASCAR Busch North Series, American Canadian Tour (ACT) and many of NASCAR’s greatest drivers. Riverside is home for the iconic IWK 250 – not only a bucket list race for drivers and fans, but an event that has raised awareness and over $600,000 for the IWK Foundation in support of the IWK Health Centre for Women and Children.

Scotia Speedworld (SSW) is a 3/10-mile asphalt oval racing facility. SSW is the only venue in Nova Scotia to host a weekly racing series, which runs May through September and features six different classes of racecars. SSW also hosts special events, including Napa World Series of Monster Trucks and the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour. SSW is located at Exit 6 on Highway 102, across from the Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
