Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) picked up his third win of the season and his first career victory at Petty International tonight in the Mr. Lube + Tires 150. The win keeps Butcher at the top of the championship point standings with just one race to go.
Robbie MacEwen (Charlottetown, PE) was second across the line, followed by Cory Hall (Jolicure, NB) who was subbing in for championship contender Austin MacDonald (Pictou, NS). Russell Smith Jr. (Lakeside, NS) had another solid run coming home fourth, followed by Steve Halpin (Saint John, NB) in fifth.
Chris Hughes (Brackley Beach, PE) won the first of three Atlantic Tiltload heat races which set the field for the Mr. Lube + Tires 150. Ryan VanOirschot (Antigonish, NS) won heat two, with Robbie MacEwen picking up the checkers in heat three.

The Mr. Lube + Tires 150 has been postponed to Sunday October 6th due to tomorrows forecast. For those who have bracelets from June 8th they will be honoured on October 6th. The format will remain the same with a 2:00pm start time. Pit gates will open at 8:00am, grandstands at 12noon.
We will be watching the forecast for Sunday and if necessary an announcement will be made no later than 3:00pm Saturday.
The East Coast International Pro Stock Tour is headed to Petty International Raceway this Saturday for its second attempt at the Mr. Lube + Tires 150. The race originally scheduled for June 8th was eventually rained out after a valiant attempt to get the race completed. The Mr. Lube + Tires 150 is the penultimate event on the 2024 season for the elite touring series.
Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races will get this started this Saturday at 2:00pm.
Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) continues to lead the points chase with 1621 accumulated so far this season. Hot on his heels in the chase for the championship is Austin MacDonald (Pictou, NS) just 31 markers behind. Gage Gilby (Enfield, NS) is impressing in his rookie season and sits just 44 points behind Butcher. Mike Rodgers (Moncton, NB) and Ryan VanOirschot (Antigonish, NS) are having their best seasons on the Series and sit fourth and fifth respectively as we had into the second last race of the year, the Mr. Lube + Tires 150.
Also on the extensive race card Saturday are the Maritime League of Legends, Bandoleros, Women on Wheels, Mini Stocks and Sportsman. The Mr. Lube + Tires 150 will run after the Legends and Bandolero features. Women on Wheels, Mini Stocks and Sportsman features will run after the Pro Stock Tour.
Tickets for the Mr. Lube + Tires 150 will be available at the gates on race day only (cash only). Adult tickets are $30.00, youth (11-18yrs) are $15.00, ten and under are free. Admission to the pits is $40.00.
